Emergency Childcare First Aid is a course that is run exclusively by the workplace approved. It is a 8 to 10 hour course that is typically completed within one day. It is one of the most intensive first aid and CPR courses offered through the workplace approved. Candidates that successfully completed this course will receive a workplace approved certification in Emergency Childcare First Aid with CPR level “B” and AED. CPR level “B” comes standard with this course and candidates can not opt for any other level of CPR training. Daycare workers, childcare workers, nanny’s and babysitters are the typical candidates that enroll into this course. However, you do not need to be working in these fields to attend a workplace approved emergency child care first aid course. Certification Through the workplace approved:
Candidates that successfully complete the skills component and the multiple choice test will receive a workplace approved child care first aid, CPR level “B” and AED certificate that is valid for 3 years. This is a nationally accredited award that is valid throughout Canada and meets requirements for childcare and daycare workers. Participants are encouraged to contact their employer to ensure that this is the correct certification for the industry that they are in. Re-certifications are not available for this course and candidates must retake the course to renew certification.
The cost of emergency childcare first aid is 75.00 dollars. Course fee includes workplace approved childcare manual, certification fee and all applicable taxes. Our training providers do not have any hidden fees.
